So I just watched a dvd that one of my sculpture collectors sent me.
A year or so ago a couple named Ed and Joyce Doty bought a giant Bob the Frog and a giant Escargot. They own a botanical/sculpture garden called Na Aina Kai and if you ever get a chance, check out [link]
The place is amazing just by looking at this site, but the dvd just blew my wife and I away.
Also, since talking to my good friend Ballistyc I realized I hadn't told any of you that may be snickering now and then....Yes, Randy Hand is my real name and Yes, I have heard almost every joke imaginable to do with my name.
After "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" came out, I was always greeted by, "MR Hond!" said in their best Spicoli voice...
Then it really got bad after Austin Powers...
Imagine your name translating to Horny Hand...
We've had people come up to us at art shows and say, "That is not your real name is it?"
I often reply, "No, it's a porn site..."
But boy, does my name stick in people's heads.
And what a twist of fate that I ended up sculpting for a living...
But alas, the jokes keep coming...
Maybe that explains my warped sense of humor...
