8/17- Wow, what a shock to wake this morning and see the much apprediated DD and all your responses. I apologize for the boring explanations...Just a few more details on Go Fish so I don't get carpal tunnel from trying to respond to everyone. The piece is bronze and colored with flourescent acrylics and lacquer dyes. The first year that I had it at a show in Sausalito, CA a person came up and said that his buddy Andrew Stanton was working on a film that would be out the following year called In Search of Nemo. Not sure if the name had changed or this guy remembered it wrong but the following year Finding Nemo came out. A ton of people ask me "were you inspired by Finding Nemo?" We just smile and say "Sure" because it takes too long to explain it. The cool thing is that we have some very good friends that work for Pixar and we get tours every time we go out. AMAZING place and what a cool bunch of incredibly talented people. thanks again for all of your responses... also, I sell it now on a black base (my mom's suggestion) and it looks a TON better.

In something I think deserves a DD on its technical execution alone,GO FISH by ~handyrand is exactly the kind of work suited for commercial success and that shows great attention to crafting something with style. (Suggested by ~Kangaroo- and Featured by `zeruch)
The back fish is me, the front fish is my boss... jk jk jk... Anyway, love it, it's great. The expressions (especially on the front fish) is well defined and really funny.
Thanks for all your comments! I too can relate to these fish on different levels. I'm mostly the one in front and lately the red fish has been Life...sheeesh...
Well, the red fish is me, the green fish is my slave labour monkey after spilling hot soup into my lap. Just adding a little variation (or not...) to your collection of people relating.
