So here's the small table top version of the tree.
I dropped it off at the mold maker today. I had submitted a WIP shot of this, over a year ago.[link] I wanted to give the client a basic idea of what direction I was going for the giant version. Plus it gave me a feel for how the roots, body trunk and branches were going to flow before I started putting the big one together. I put it aside until recently because I had to get going on the large version. The canopy and arm come off so those will be molded separately. The woman who got the big one will get a complimentary maquette. I try to do that with anyone that buys a real big piece. Hope you like it... |
